Position Overview
Hariwan Organization is seeking a qualified female Community Mobilizer for our project. The selected candidate will lead community engagement initiatives and ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement & Outreach:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage local community leaders and stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and focus group discussions.
- Program Implementation & Monitoring:
- Collaborate with the project team to align mobilization activities with project objectives.
- Monitor and document community feedback and prepare progress reports.
- Capacity Building:
- Train and support community beneficiaries and local leaders on project methodologies.
- Assist in delivering awareness sessions and community-based activities.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of community interactions and support logistical arrangements for events.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, including safeguarding and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Academic Credentials:
- A bachelor’s degree or an advanced academic background in a relevant field.
- Professional Experience:
- Proven and extensive experience in community mobilization or a related role.
- Language Proficiency:
- Native proficiency in Kurdish.
- Strong command of both Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Additional Requirements:
- This position is open to female candidates only.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Promoting UN Resolution 1325 and UNSCR 2250 to LHPC in Hawijah and Al-Zab/Kekuk
Among the achievements of Hariwan Organization, in partnership with the International Organization for Migration(IOM) in 2022, is that it implemented some initiatives through Lighthouse peace Club, which included repairing some schools and hospitals in order to aid the local community especially to facilitate accessibility of PWDs into public schools and hospitals in Hawijah and Al-Zab/Kirkuk

Strengthening Youth and Women to Build Inclusive Communities through Social
Cohesion in Hawijah and Al Zab Sub-District
The proposed action will help in the reduction of equity and injustice and promote
peace and social cohesion among the community of different gender groups in (Al Zab
Sub-District), by establishing lighthouse peace clubs and build their capacity in a way
that them can operate together with the political, tribal and religious leaders.
Moreover, it will involve the community in a series of awareness activities that will
build trust between the various gender groups and stimulate social cohesion. To build
strong project sustainability livelihood activities will be included in the project to
reduces economical and social discrimination among different groups for better
future in (Al Zab Sub-District)

Protection Integrated Livelihood project in Anbar
- The idea of this program is to provide protection integrated livelihood to women
headed household, widows and divorces through educational, recreational activities and capacity-building for vulnerable women in society. - Adopt individuals and groups follow up approach for women through followup
and integrated them into a plan of activities and courses. - To enhance their abilities and develop their skills through training, endowing them with skills for discussion and constructive dialog
- Raise the level of constructive thinking and awareness, to support and empower women in society,
- Raise awareness of their social and human rights, to increase their knowledge of intervention and follow-up mechanisms for family
members - Raise women’s awareness about the social and psychological problems they face in their
personal, family and social lives, and to provide psychological, social and legal support to women through specialists with good experience

Workshop On Social Cohesion
Hariwan and DAKOK Organizations in partnership with IOM conducted a three-day workshop for lighthouse peace club members in Kirkuk/Hawijah on social cohesion, peacebuilding, and how to lobby and advocate for full implementation of United Nations Conventions and link them to NAP to support inclusive UN 1325, UN2250 and promote social cohesion.

Hariwan Organization for Development of human rights with the partnership of international Organization of migration IOM has conducted and successfully accomplished several activities, English course, computer course and drawing course. certificates and gifts were awarded to all the participants as an appreciation for their efforts, we wish them all the success .




International Children’s Day
Hariwan Organization for Development of Human Rights in partnership with IOM with the support of US AID.
Celebrated international Children’s Day at Shekhan Camp. Wishing them a very beautiful life. May the love and laughter always stay on every child’s face. Happy children day.
Also on this day child resilience program has been ended and certificates have been handed to the children who were the participants of the program.
