Life Skills Training.

Life skills Training includes all important topics related to life skills such as (communication skills, decision making, problem-solving, self-awareness, self-confidence, understanding and accepting the other, dealing with the pressures, and critical thinking). The participants will be encouraged to implement some small activities to practice psychosocial wellbeing personal skills are the essential life skills we need to help maintain a healthy body and mind, such as resilience, they include skills such as how we recognize, manage and cope with emotions, the objectives of this training are to build self-confidence, encourage critical thinking, foster independence and help people to communicate more effectively personal skills are the essential life skills we need to help maintain a healthy body and mind, such as resilience, they include skills such as how we recognize, manage and cope with emotions. As well as our aim from this activity is for people in the camp to know more about managing their life and seeking their future and knowing the best choice for their life and how can they depend on themselves.

International Human Rights Day.

On 10th December 2019,  On the occasion of the end of 16 days of activism /occasion of international human rights day, Hariwan organization with the coordination of camp management, Harikar Organization, and VOP organization conducted an event which included various activities to promote all human rights and fundamental freedoms, through it we had given to participants some sticker to write something related stop violence, as well as regarding respect them and motivate them and their rights we provided Poem on human right.

International Day of People with Disabilities.

Hariwan organization in partnership with the International Organization for Migration IOM, organized the celebration of the International Day of People with Disabilities with the aim of understanding disabilities issues, ensuring their rights, and raising awareness in order to involve them in social, cultural, and economic life and non-discrimination regardless of gender or ethnoreligious ethics, due to providing support rehabilitation in order to integrate them with society and do respect their rights and protect them from abuse and ensure their participation in our activities.

English Course.

Learning English is important because it is the most commonly spoken language in the world, the aim of training to develop their intellectual, personal and professional abilities, Acquire basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in order to communicate with speakers of English language and acquire the linguistic competence necessarily required in various life situations. As well as the aim to provide some programs in the field of awareness and group discussions provided by the team through the course, which is to support them psychologically and socially of the awareness raised during the training.

Electrical Fixation Course.

It is possible to obtain a professional to be used in the future in obtaining jobs and material gains, the goal of this course is to provide the participants with the necessary cognitive aspects of the electrical wiring of the buildings, a comprehensive understanding of the symbols and the necessary schemas, the types and forms of the different lighting elements of the buildings, the electrical extensions of the power and lighting and the electrical communication and identification of electrical panels and types of electrical wiring hidden and phenomenon, These networks are expanding to study major networks such as factory and hospital networks and their handling mechanism, as well as the formation of social cohesion between the IDPs.

The volunteers conducted on repairing electrical items to residents in the camp, the volunteers learned to that there are already many ways to recycle small electrical items that are repaired and rely on own selves, and the volunteers and resident in the camp were very happy for delivering such services on this program we aim to cooperation each other and spirit on a work team, and community engagement.

The project also aims at benefiting from their energies in the areas of rebuilding their cities and relying on themselves after they are able to return to their areas.

Project of Biking for Women (Riding for Peace, Freedom, and Rights)

Hariwan, Bishkoreen, and Better world organizations participated in the IOM biking project for women and girls from IDP, refugees, and host communities, the project objectives are to empower women and girls through sports activity, to advocate for the rights of women and girls especially in doing sport and riding a bike, and to strengthen social cohesion among the host, IDPs, and refugee’s communities. The project contains three stages; the first one is to train 100 women and girls on riding bike, the second stage is to hold a marathon event that all 100 trained women and girls are gathered in one place to ride the bike at one time and together, and the third stage is the follow-up activities after the event in which the women and girls continuously been gathered and to ride the bike in a safe and friendly environment. In addition, in all three stages, women and girls are to be involved in PSS and awareness activities.
